a bit of background

ER in Bainbridge Island, WA

You get it — I’m a writer and so much more. What I am not is a person who enjoys writing bios about myself, but we’ll get through it together.

I’m kicking off 2026 with a new role: Senior Manager, Commercial Enablement, at health information exchange leader Datavant. I’ll bridge sales, marketing, and operations to make sure everyone has what they need to communicate about — and sell — our products.

Previously, I was a content specialist at healthcare IT company Phreesia. I spent a year creating high-impact Demand Gen content and a year as a product marketer. I created sales collateral, led product positioning for GTMs, managed + marketed the quarterly client webinar, oversaw all emails to our client base (!), etc.

While working full-time, I earned my M.S. in strategic comms at Agnes Scott College and interned in the Atlanta Public Defenders’ Office’s data science department (which was an exhausting collection of commitments, but worth it!). My thesis explored LGBTQIA+ users’ interactions with health/care technology through the lenses of queer HCI + data feminism.

Before that, I worked in content + comms at nonprofits and global health media group Healthline Nutrition.

You can spot my byline in Insider, The Washington Post, and more, including indie pubs like PULP Magazine (where I supported social content and hosted a repro rights podcast!).
